HOPE//POVERTY a vision of hope through art exhibition

Hope//Poverty Website

I have the above drawing titled 'Reflections in the Void' in the exhibition. The below is a description of the event taken from the Paintworks website:

Hope and Poverty, a multi-disciplinary art exhibition from 14th-18th February 2012

Artists from all over the world have been invited to submit work based on their interpretation of Hope and/or Poverty, from which an exciting collection of work from over 30 artists has been selected and will be displayed to raise money for street children and impoverished families in the Philippines.
We are excited to announce that the Hope and Poverty Art Exhibition will be taking place at the fabulous Paintwork art space in Bristol from the 14th – 18th of February. This will be a fascinating multi-disciplinary exhibition with both international and well-loved local artists such as Karen Wallis, Carol Peace and Kay Lewis Bell exhibiting work based on their interpretations of Hope and Poverty designed to provoke, inspire and even shock viewers to both the horror of poverty and the power of hope.
Winning artwork from schools in the UK and the Philippines who are competing in an arts competition will be displayed, highlighting the differing perspectives of Hope and Poverty from children at opposite ends of the world.
